Transplanted from New York, Duke and his brother Frankie Romano live in a rundown LA apartment with their alcoholic mother (Karen Black). Duke wants his younger brother to make something of his life, but how? They intercept Nicky, an exiled New York mobster, by robbing his truck delivering a load of designer shoes. With Nicky hot on their trail, Duke and Frankie duck and dodge, making Fallen Arches the perfect satire of a gangster movie turned into screwball comedy.
