Going To Hell: The Making of 'Soul Searcher'
2008 / PG-13 / 91 min
Feature length, behind-the-scenes documentary, which tells, with brutal honesty, the real story behind the movie 'Soul Searcher'. Hailed by the UK's prestigious broadsheet newspaper The Guardian as "The Spielberg of Hereford", writer-director Neil Oseman went through four years of torment and torture to bring this movie to screens. To ensure the integrity of his vision he also assumed the roles of producer, cinematographer, editor, sound designer and visual effects artist. Fortunately for audiences he documented the whole process from start to finish, providing a fascinating insight into the filmmaking process and an education in how (or how not!) to make a movie.
