Teenage Years: Teenage Wasteland
NR / 60 min
Drugs and alcohol are not just the dangers of today's youth! Temptation and addiction have been stalking teenagers for more than 50 years. Most addicts start young - so parents of the 1950s knew they had to reach their children before pushers, pills and booze ruined their lives forever. By the 1970s things had only gotten worse. As adult society began to accept drugs, their evil influence started oozing into America's high schools as well. Understanding that millions of teens could end up wasting their lives if something was not done to address the situation, parents and educators came together to make a series of educational films urging teenagers to stay away from demon rum and wacky weed!
