Doc Holliday hunts, then befriends, Billy the Kid after Billy steals his horse. Later, though, Billy develops a romance with Doc's gilfriend, Rio (Jane Russell). For its frank portrayal of sex, this movie pushed the envelope of American cinema at the time, and as a result had trouble passing censorship boards.
