Dressed to Kill - reviewed on Mar 30, 2008
Made in 1946, this entry for Holmes and Watson is a fairly good one. No attempt to hide who done it, an intelligent, talented and beautiful female adversary plays a game of wits with Holmes, almost proving to be his undoing. As with most Holmes movies with Basil Rathbone, definitely worth the watch.

Somewhat transparent for sure. But it was the first of the PI TV shows. This was the show that made most of these plots cliche.
